Tottenham Hotspur are rumoured to be ready to rival Juventus for Giampaolo Pazzini.
The 24-year-old Sampdoria striker has been named in the 23-man Italy squad for the World Cup and was formerly a member of the Under-21 team, where he scored a hat-trick against his English counterparts in March 2007.
Pazzini scored 19 goals for the Serie A side last season to take his tally for the club to 30 in 56 games.
Below is the standard YouTube compilation clip of the player.
Have something to tell us about this article?
Jesus no…..looks too much like that chain smokin waste of space that we sold for a chunk of profit to Man U. Not convinced
My view is his agent wants a better contract from Juventus
He looks a class finisher even allowing for at three of the goals being offside and a better option than Defoe (he can head a ball for start and score penalties). However is he the difference Arry was commenting on? Can he make goals out of nothing like Torres? Doesn't look like it.
Agreed, his game reminds me a little of Gary Liniker, you know, right place right time kind of thing, which is what we have been missing for a while as we have no problem getting the ball in the box with all the quality we have in midfield and the likes. You could add at least twelve points to our overall total from last season if we had someone like that,IE,Stoke,Wolves,Hull,Everton,Villa home and away, those wins can grab you the title.
I still would like to see us purchase someone who can grab the game by the scruff of the neck and drag the rest of of our lot on to win when we're having an of day, perhaps Bellamy,or YaYa Toure?
DublinYID, don't be naive. You don't want a player
just because he looked like a traitor of the past.
That only shows you're narrow-minded. Looks
similar doesn't mean they behave similar, dude.
Don't forget, we are CL material now. But the traitor
won't stay long with United either. It's just a matter
of time before the traitor starts playing in the
Championship or League One…
i think dublinYID was joking…re the resemblence
Pazzini, mmm he is good player!
yeh berba has two arms and a head too…
Thanks COYS…if any one was affected by my comment please dial 1890………….
He looks a very confident and skillful player, might not be bad?
You'll see more of Pazzini at the World Cup, he'll be on the subs bench for Italy and may sub/play a few games. By the way he scored a hat-trick at the first ever game in the New Wembley !! Worth a shout…
