The most staggering Harry Kane transfer rumour to date

Real Madrid are prepared to offer former Tottenham players Luka Modric and Gareth Bale, along with Karim Benzema to Spurs as part of a swap deal for star striker Harry Kane.

The astounding rumour is courtesy of Diaro Gol, who report that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is prepared to offer the three players in order to try and entice Tottenham to part with Kane.

It seems staggering that this could be true, we all know the potential which lies within Kane and at 24, he hasn’t even hit his peak as of yet.  But can you really see Madrid wanting to part company with Modric, Bale and Benzema?

It would be a dream to get Bale and Modric back at the club, but to play alongside Kane – not shipping him off to Spain.

We’d like to get your thoughts on whether you’d allow Kane to leave Spurs if it meant us signing the Madrid trio?

Personally, I cannot see this being a goer.  What do you think?

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. Totally made up bullshit which undoubtedly will be carried by all the low class rags until it dies a death. Spurs will not part with Harry Kane and the nonces in both the Spanish and English press know it so they have to get more creative with their stories and this is just the latest instalment.

At the end of the season and throughout the Summer, the stories will intensify and I have no doubt, that all of our star players will make the headlines as targets for other clubs. What’s the betting that young Harry Winks will also be included as a target.

  2. Complete bollocks. Modric is now too old, Bale is too expensive (wages), and Benzema is only average, at best. Interesting how these Madrid stories surface just as Spurs are about to play them in the Champions League – coincidence? No, I don’t think so either.

  3. It is hilarious.

Spurs don’t need to consider Bale as part of a deal for Kane. Tottenham having first refusal if RM decide to sell, was part of the original sale. Just keep Kane and then if/when Real decide to sell Bale invoke the original deal.

Kane is just plain not for sale and doesn’t want to leave. If RM are trying to unsettle the squad before the CL double-header this is more likely to galvanise them instead. It sounds pathetic and kinda sad really.

  4. It would be a complete waste of time making an offer like that anyway.. we can’t afford the wages of those three players!! Bale alone is on £300,000 per week.

  5. What a load of nonsense anyone who would take them 3 for kane is deluded he’s on a whole new level to all 3 of them yeah lets have bale back who can’t even keep fit and isnr half as good as he was a few years ago or modric who isnt far from retirement and as for benzima he’s not even worth talking about
