‘Stop the count’ – Some fans react to Spurs’ late win against West Brom

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to performance against West Bromwich Albion this afternoon which saw Harry Kane score a late goal to take this side top of the table.

It was a hugely frustrating encounter at The Hawthorns and those who shelled out the £14.95 pay per view cost will certainly feel hard done by aside from the last few minutes.

While the pre-match excitement was focused on the fact that Harry Kane, Heung-min Son and Gareth Bale were all starting a Premier League match for the first time, the reality was that they struggled to create any decent opportunities which saw Mourinho bring off Sissoko and Bale in the 78th minute and throw on Lucas Moura and Carlos Vinicius in the hope of all three points.

Chances were few and far between for Mourinho’s side with Son, Lo Celso, Vinicius and Alderweireld all going close but it was Kane once again who proved to be the hero when he headed home in the 88th minute.

Here is what some fans had to say about the performance.
