“Tap in merchant” – Some Spurs fans react to Kane’s goal against Wolves

Tottenham Hotspur fans have been taking to Twitter to praise Harry Kane after the striker put his side ahead against Wolverhampton Wanderers on 21 minutes.

The goal came when Kane picked up the ball on the right side of the pitch before deciding to cut back in on his left foot and unleashed a powerful effort which went straight into the far top corner.

It has been a memorable few days for the Spurs and England forward after it was announced that he would receive an MBE in the New Year’s Honours list.

The Spurs and England striker receives the accolade at the end of an incredible year for club and country in which he won the World Cup Golden Boot with six goals in the team’s run to the semi-finals, becoming the first Englishman to win the accolade since Gary Lineker in 1990.

Kane has now scored 157 goals in all competitions for Spurs.
