Team News: Spurs confirm the side which will face Reading this afternoon

Tottenham Hotspur have announced the team news ahead of this afternoon’s friendly against Championship side Reading.

Jose Mourinho’s side kicked off their pre-season preparations last weekend with a comfortable 3-0 victory against Ipswich Town of League One courtesy of a brace from Heung-min Son and an opening goal from Ryan Sessegnon.

Spurs now face the Royals in what will be the first of two matches in the space of twenty four hours with Birmingham City also heading to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tomorrow afternoon to continue the club’s bid to increase the player’s match fitness.

Tanguy Ndombele is forced to sit out the match after recently contracting COVID-19 and has to spent fourteen days in isolation (Daily Mail).

Tottenham will round off their batch of friendlies with a trip to Vicarage Road to take on relegated Watford next Saturday.

This is who will take to the field for the opening half against Mark Bowen’s side.
