Team News: Three ruled out and two uncertain ahead of West Ham match

Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update ahead of Saturday’s match against West Ham United.

It has been a whirlwind of a week in North London having parted company with Mauricio Pochettino.

Jose Mourinho will shortly meet with the press at Hotspur Way for the first time since being appointed as the new head coach.

The Portuguese will be looking for his new side to start climbing the Premier League table from the lowly fourteenth position which they currently occupy.

With fourth place Manchester City already eleven points better off than the lilywhites, Spurs need to start picking up victories.

Club captain Hugo Lloris is still sidelined with a dislocated elbow which will keep him out of action until next year.

There are doubts over the fitness of Tanguy Ndombele, who has a groin issue while there are also questions over the available of Jan Vertonghen who is still carrying a hamstring injury that kept him out of Belgium’s recent internationals; both players will be assessed ahead of kick off.

Erik Lamela misses out along with recent returnee Michel Vorm who has a calf problem.
