Tottenham Hotspur have provided team news update following Jose Mourinho’s pre-West Ham United press conference from Hotspur Way this afternoon.
Such is the protocol since the coronavirus pandemic, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Mourinho answering questions prior to the visit of West Ham to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Press conference are continuing to take place on the Zoom video conferencing platform with journalists still not able to attend the Tottenham training ground in person as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
Japhet Tanganga and Giovanni Lo Celso miss out while Eric Dier is considered a doubt.
Fans will be looking to Harry Kane to continue his impressive start to the season, the striker has been involved in more Premier League goals than any other player so far this season (9 – 3 goals, 6 assists). Kane has also scored nine goals in his last 10 Premier League games against West Ham
Jose Mourinho just told me that Harry Kane will start on Sunday and Carlos Vinicius will be on the bench. He also said Lo Celso and Tanganga are out injured, but Lo Celso hopefully won't be out long. Eric Dier is a doubt. Also said Gareth Bale might play Sunday, if not Thursday.
