Team News: Two return, one doubt and one unknown for Burnley clash

Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update ahead of Saturday’s trip to Burnley.

As expected, the club have confirmed that Harry Kane and Ben Davies have returned to full training following their respective ankle and ground injuries.

Midfielder Dele Alli once again misses our due to the left hamstring injury he picked up at Fulham last month and his continuing his rehabilitation.
Danny Rose is considered a doubt for the match at Turf Moor due to illness, which could mean Davies slots straight back in or Mauricio Pochettino asks Jan Vertonghen to put in another shift on the left side.
Interestingly, there was no mention of Vincent Janssen within the club’s update. The Dutch striker also returned to training this week after missing the win against Newcastle with a knee problem.
Tottenham will be looking for nothing less than three points to keep their title hopes alive as they continue to put the pressure on Liverpool and Manchester City.
