Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update ahead of Saturday afternoon’s Premier League match against Southampton.
Mauricio Pochettino will be looking for his side to bounce back following the embarrassing Carabao Cup third round exit on Tuesday night at the hands of League Two outfit Colchester United.
As expected, Giovani Lo Celso is still sidelined with the hip problem he picked up on international duty with Argentina while fellow recent signing Ryan Sessegnon is still on his way back after suffering a setback with his hamstring rehabilitation.
The Spurs boss made ten changes for the Colchester match and will no doubt ring the changes once again as he looks for his side to return to winning ways and improve upon the club’s seventh place position.
Anything less than three points against the Saints would be catastrophic and only continue the current media witch hunt. Thankfully, we’re playing at home.
