“Thanks Hugo, but its time you left” – Some Spurs fans are angry at club captain

Tottenham Hotspur had a night to forget at Stamford Bridge after suffering a 2-0 defeat to rivals Chelsea.

The club’s Premier League aspirations have been turned on their head within the space of a few days; rather than dreaming of a potential late title push fans are now instead concerned that we could even finish outside of the top four.

It is the first time which Spurs have lost back to back Premier League games since September.
The chasing pack of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are starting to close in on Tottenham.

Some fans have taken to Twitter to vent their frustration at goalkeeper Hugo Lloris who had a considerable part to play in both of Chelsea’s goals.

The Frenchman was beaten easily for Pedro’s opener and played a considerable part in Kieran Trippier’s embarrassing own goal.

Spurs gave the game away, two pieces of poor defending have handed Chelsea the win.
