“That is a thing of beauty”- Some fans react to Spurs kit unveiling

Tottenham Hotspur have today officially unveiled their new third choice playing strip for the 2019/20 season.

The light blue design is something of a throwback to the 1990’s with a retro button down collar along with the old Nike logo rather than the just the swoosh which appears on the home and away kits.

It isn’t the first time the club have worn a light blue kit with legends from the past including Steve Perryman, Glenn Hoddle, Clive Allen and Teddy Sheringham all having sported the colour over the years.

Spurs announced earlier today that the kit will debut later this month when the Champions League campaign begins which could potentially mean the away trip to Olympiacos on September 18th could be the first time which it is worn in a competitive fixture.

Some Spurs fans have been reacting on social media to the unveiling of the kit, here’s a selection of thoughts from the North London faithful.
