Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that young defender TJ Eyoma has been given a new three-year contract.
The 20-year-old will head back to Lincoln City for the 2020/21 campaign after a previous loan spell at Sincil Bank when he joined the club on loan in January.
Eyoma made just three appearances for the Imps last season which all came in the EFL Trophy and will be hoping to break into the starting eleven in the upcoming campaign (transfermarkt).
The versatile defender, who is comfortable at either right-back or as a central defender made his competitive debut for Tottenham Hotspur off the bench in the 7-0 victory at Tranmere Rovers in the FA Cup in January, 2019.
Known as TJ, the Under-19 international admitted that the prospect of playing under Imps manager Michael Appleton was a big factor in his decision to return to the League One side to continue his footballing education (Lincoln City official).
A statement on the official Spurs site read: “TJ Eyoma has signed a new contract with the Club until 2023 and joined Lincoln City on loan for the 2020/21 season.”
