Tottenham Sunday Paper Transfer Round-Up

It wouldn’t be a Sunday without the tabloids linking a max exodus of players with a move away from Tottenham Hotspur and today is no different.

Below we take a look at the ‘rumours’ relating to Tottenham players and where their apparent future lies – if you can believe a newspaper!

Eric Dier

According to The Sun, Bayern Munch are considering a £50million for Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier.  The England international has been continually linked with a move to Manchester United, but according to the report, the German giants are more hopeful that Spurs could be tempted to sell Dier to a non-Premier League rival.

Dele Alli

Following the sale of Neymar to PSG, Barcelona are now linked with every Tom, Dick and Harry (thankfully not Kane) you can think of.  According to the Telegraph, the Catalan outfit are weighing up a move to tempt Tottenham to part with Dele.

Jake Turner

Who?  Was our first response.  Apparently, Tottenham have ‘stepped up their interest’ in Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Jake Turner claim The Sun.  Turner is a current England Under-18 goalkeeper.

That’s about it, so unless Levy and Pochettino have managed to keep their transfer activity from the papers – it could be another quiet week of transfer activity in terms of fresh blood.

  1. From here on in as from here on back it will be consistent and very particular, the press are really not relating it at all with knowledge and understanding Spurs.
    Re Selling:
    No player is heading out from our 1st 15)inc Rose:/Davies Son,Winks ( not inc vorm) . Even now it looks like we are allowing Sissoko to prove himself. As for Dele well the https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/243a58b8b3e2e9fcef65b1f243a941311cb27933329d0c42843dc8aff9f86e50.png post from sky odds says it all. He’s 1/33 on to stay,
    And Janssen is going to give it dnothrr year to prove himself. Then the bench is weak. Wimmer had not developed as we needed. Then it’s youth that’s a year too early.

    Buying
    It is very very narrow and very particular matket, cos the player must fit several parts of s jigsaw;
    We sllnow realise it will be a happy to fit player and of reasonable ability. Yes the bench looks very light and Tripps Injury is so typical of all players it just had to be didn’t it.
    We need s player that can cover right and centre back, better than wimmer and also quick.
    And another to cover the lamella position and for me that the basics.
    But the one we must get and make sure we keep it within the correct pay structure is Barkley.
