Members of Mauricio Pochettino’s playing staff got their first opportunity yesterday not only to visit the brand new 62,062 capacity seater stadium for the first time but also to take part in a training session on the lush green playing surface.
Spurs have released a 10-minute long piece of video footage that shows in some detail some of the drills the players were instructed to do ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash against Liverpool at Anfield.
There is no doubt the players will be relishing the prospect of playing in front of a full capacity crowd on Wednesday evening when Crystal Palace become the first official opponents at the new ground.
