Ajax ultras have set off fireworks during the early hours of this morning directly outside the hotel which Tottenham Hotspur have stayed at prior to this evening’s match.
The supporters of the Dutch side recorded footage of the firework show which caused an almighty noise. They have a track record of this kind of tactic to visiting sides in European competition, so it wouldn’t have come as a complete surprise to Tottenham officials.
Hopefully, come the end of the 90 minutes this evening it is Tottenham who are celebrating a place in the final of the Champions League where a date with Liverpool awaits the winner on June 1st in Madrid.
In order to do so, Mauricio Pochettino’s side must fight back from a 1-0 defeat from the first leg.
