Video: Alderweireld explains what Spurs must learn from Burnley ahead of RB Leipzig tie

Toby Alderweireld believes that his Tottenham Hotspur team-mates must take the positives from their second half display against Burnley ahead of their trip to Germany on Tuesday.

Spurs head into their Champions League round of sixteen tie against RB Leipzig looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit to keep alive their European journey.

It was another frustrating display, especially during the first half of yesterday’s Premier League encounter at Turf Moor which left Alderweireld admitting that they could have won the game in the second half if they were more clinical in front of goal.

The Belgian highlighted the side’s desire to take the game to the Clarets more often in the second half as one of the key points in the change of the tide of the match.

Alderweireld believes that the North Londoners stand a good chance against Leipzig if they can take their positives from the last forty five minutes against Sean Dyche’s side.
