Tottenham Hotspur’s problems could go as far back as February according to former Stoke City midfielder Jonathan Walters.

The ex-midfielder believes that Spurs’ 2-1 loss at Burnley last season which was a significant blow in the club’s hopes of mounting a title challenge which saw the North London side narrowly scrape a fourth-place finish.

Walters claimed that things behind the scenes do not look good and questioned how they move forward from their current problems.

Spurs were unable to make amends for the 7-2 embarrassment by Bayern Munich on Tuesday with another diabolical performance against Brighton who ran out comfortable 3-0 winners.

  1. Why phrase it as if he’s come-up with a stunningly controversial take on Spurs’ current state, when all the stats prove that we’ve been in relation form for most of this year? When are you ‘Spurs Web’ people going to wake up to our dire form and, particularly, to Pochettino’s total inability to sort things out? The CL run was a total fluke, and we played to our true level in the final – abysmally!
