Carlos Vinicius underwent his medical at Tottenham Hotspur yesterday ahead of completing his season long loan move to the North Londoners.
The Brazilian striker was captured on camera being put through his medical assessment by Tottenham’s medical team and was involved in a light-hearted moment where he was asked if he wore shinpads.
Vinicius pointed to an area to the side of his right shin and claimed that it was former Spur Jan Vertonghen who had left marks on his leg.
Vertonghen ended his eight-year association with Tottenham in July after he left the club on a free transfer, before moving to Benfica and spent the first couple of his months with the Portuguese giants alongside Vinicius.
