Eric Dier has absolutely flattened Sergio Ramos in a textbook perfect tackle.
The Tottenham Hotspur player started in the middle of midfield for England in their UEFA Nations League match against Spain in Seville.
The challenge came during the first half when the ball was in Spain’s own penalty area and after somewhat of a heavy first touch from the Real Madrid man, Dier steamed in with a sliding tackle that left Ramos on the floor complaining to the referee.
Ramos usually considers himself the enforcer on the field, just ask Liverpool’s Mo Salah. However on this occasion, Dier has given him a taste of his own medicine.
