It looked like it was going to be one of those afternoons but they have come up yet again with a late goal.
It is Tottenham who broke the deadlock into injury time after Burnley had parked the bus and frustrated Mauricio Pochettino’s side for 90 minutes.
The goal scorer was substitute Christian Eriksen who netted his first goal in 19 Premier League games to ensure a vital three points remained with Tottenham.
A draw would have been a huge frustration in Tottenham’s bid to put the pressure on Liverpool and Manchester City, but once again showed their never say die attitude.
Can someone explain to me why Christian Eriksen is a substitute so often? By far Spurs' most important player, one of the best in the Premier League and still just 26 years of age. Greatest discovery of John Steen Olsen. pic.twitter.com/kiYPpewt0Q
