(Video) Footage shows the latest progress at the new Spurs stadium

Today it was reported in the press that Tottenham could be forced by the Premier League to play this entire season’s home fixtures at Wembley amid growing concerns that the new stadium may not be ready until after Christmas.

The Daily Mail claim that Spurs have taken up an option with the FA to extend their stay at the national stadium, with sources suggesting that the agreement runs until the Premier League encounter against Burnley on December 15.

Whilst we’re all still in limbo about the new stadium, we can bring you some further video footage of the exterior of the new stadium.

Some highlights include

  • More paneling and glass has been fitted on the north, north-west and east stands lot more steelwork joining to the west stand and more pre-cast concrete terrace units installed
  • Further construction of the upper part of the stadium (there are nine floors in this stadium)
  • Warmington House – The Tottenham experience, museum and club shop along with the extension at the back are coming along nicely
