Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan does not believe that Gareth Southgate would be a good fit as a future manager of Tottenham Hotspur.
A report in the Daily Star claimed that the England boss is now Tottenham’s first choice option to replace Mauricio Pochettino, should the Argentine depart North London.
Pochettino had come under fire from some within the media following Tottenham’s slow start to the new season which also saw them embarrassingly lose to League Two side Colchester United last Tuesday night.
Jordan fears that if Pochettino did decide to leave, it could have catastrophic consequences for the dismantling of the current squad in North London.
