Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Andros Townsend appeared as a guest on Amazon Prime Sport’s Back of the Net show this week.
In the spirit of Halloween, Townsend was reminded of the occasion which he was pranked by Kyle Walker during their time together in North London.
As part of Spurs TV’s celebration of Haloween in 2013, right-back Kyle Walker donned a spooky costume at the club’s Hotspur Way training ground and did his best to scare his team-mates and backroom staff in a funny viral prank.
Unfortunately for Townsend, he produced another horror show in 2015 when he clashed with Spurs fitness coach Nathan Gardiner during the cool down following a Premier League match against Aston Villa.
He was subsequently banished from the first team by Mauricio Pochettino (Telegraph) and later sold to Newcastle United.
