Sky Sports football pundit Gary Neville has given a blunt and honest assessment of Serge Aurier’s capabilities to defend.
The Ivorian has become a liability to the Tottenham side for either being sent off or for foolish decisions which have cost his side dearly.
Aurier gifted Liverpool the opportunity to go 2-1 ahead at Anfield when he brought down Mane inside the penalty area.
Mo Salah stepped up and fired the ball beyond Paulo Gazzaniga in front of the Kop end to punish Aurier’s foolishness.
Neville said on Sky Sports: “I always feel when you watch Aurier defend, it’s a mess.”

Just how many more times is Mauricio Pochetittino going to decide to pick Aurier when everyone knows he is costing the side vital points.
Aurier needs to be sold in January or kept away from the first team. Juan Foyth and Kyle Walker-Peters must be thinking what they have done for Aurier to be continually selected ahead of them.
