Tottenham Hotspur now have a two goal advantage against Maccabi Haifa after Giovani Lo Celso made it 3-1 to the home side.
A cross from Matt Doherty found the head of Lucas Moura and his goal-bound header hit a defender only for Ben Davies to toe the ball into the path of Lo Celso who made no mistake with his finish.
The goal has come at a key time for Tottenham with Maccabi looking promising when going forward.
Harry Kane netted within two minutes and equalised soon after, only for Lucas Moura to put Mourinho’s side ahead once more.
