Tottenham Hotspur have taken the lead against Crystal Palace after 23 minutes of action at Selhurst Park.
The goal came when Harry Kane picked up the ball outside of the penalty area and unleashed a low dipping shot which saw Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita misjudge the flight of the ball and could only watch it go past him.
Guaita had performed admirably before his mistake having denied both Tanguy Ndombele and Harry Kane with smart saves from close distance.
Palace’s best opportunity to date has come through Wilfried Zaha, who forced Hugo Lloris into a low save to maintain his impressive clean sheet record.
