Video: Harry Kane on Newcastle win and potential Europa League qualification

Harry Kane described Tottenham Hotspur’s 3-1 victory at Newcastle United as a massive win.

The Spurs marksman struck twice in the second half to help secure the three points for Jose Mourinho’s side in a result which could prove to be pivotal in their quest for qualification for European football next season.

Kane admitted that Spurs needed to aim to win all three of their remaining games going into the match at St James’ Park if they are to make it into the Europa League.

While the 26-year-old was honest enough to admit that his side were not at their best but was delighted that they managed to find a way to come out on top.

The victory which takes Spurs up to seventh was the first time Jose Mourinho had won a Premier League game at St James’ Park in his eighth attempt.

It was also a momentous match for Kane, after scoring his 200th and 201st club goals of his career.
