Harry Kane has silenced the critics by scoring his first ever Premier League goal in the month of August.
Kane’s goal came just minutes after Kieran Tripper had recreated his stunning form from the World Cup by putting Tottenham back in front against Fulham with a beautiful curling free-kick.
Spurs went into the half 1-0 ahead through Lucas Moura, who picked up the ball inside the opposition penalty area and curled a beautiful shot into the corner of the goal.
He could have easily had a hat-trick in the first half with Mauricio Pochettino’s side dominating the first 45 minutes of play. Fulham brought themselves level through a Mitrovic header, but it is Trippier and Kane who has us back in front.
