Video: Harry Redknapp tells Pochettino what he needs to do at Tottenham

Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp believes that Mauricio Pochettino must instil the confidence back in his players to start performing again.

Redknapp was speaking following Tottenham’s 3-0 defeat at Brighton which came on the back of a 7-2 loss to Bayern Munich which has been one of the worst few days in the club’s recent history.

The 72-year-old who is known for being a fantastic man manager (Yahoo Sports) to get the best out of his players has urged Pochettino to get his squad together to perform as a team.

Redknapp’s comments were echoed by Peter Crouch, who under Redknapp for Spurs who claimed that his former side never looked like challenging Brighton after conceding the opening goal within the first three minutes.

From the outside looking in, there is obviously a lack of team spirit at the club. Redknapp is right tio highlight that the players need to be given the confidence to perform, whether they still want to play for Pochettino remains to be seen.
