Tottenham Hotspur have been awarded a penalty after 24 minutes of action in their Champions League opener against Olympiacos.
The decision came when Harry Kane was felled by a trailing leg of a defender inside the penalty area and the marksman rifled the ball into the roof of the net to make it 1-0 to Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Olympiacos will certainly feel frustrated after dominating the opening proceedings and had earlier hit the post with Spurs failing to show the same level of display as they did against Crystal Palace.
That’s only the second goal which the home side have conceded this season.
