Moussa Sissoko enjoyed a remarkable transformation at Tottenham Hotspur last season.
Rewind twelve months and the midfielder was still somewhat of a figure of frustration and mockery among large pockets of the Spurs support.
However, after playing more of a central, box to box midfield role he has flourished in the absence of Mousa Dembele and made the most of the opportunity with Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama sidelined with various injury issues to become a cult figure among the lilywhite fanbase.
Sissoko has taken new signing and French international team-mate Tanguy Ndombele under his wing since he made the move from Lyon earlier this month.
Harry Kane was asked about Ndombele’s time with Spurs to date with Kane revealing that Sissoko is helping him to adjust to life at the Premier League club.
