Leicester City fans rubbed salt into the wounds of Arsenal supporters by singing about their fierce North London rivals after they ran out 3-0 winners against the Gunners.
After Tottenham’s 1-0 defeat to West Ham yesterday, Arsenal had the chance to reduce the gap on Mauricio Pochettino’s side to just a point. However, they bottled the opportunity with Leicester scoring three second half goals which will have delighted Spurs supporters.
The home fans at the King Power Stadium sang “Tottenham Hotspur, they’re laughing at you” to the traveling Arsenal supporters.
Defeat for Arsenal means that they remain four points behind Spurs. Victory for Tottenham against Bournemouth next Saturday should be enough to secure another season of Champions League football.
