Tottenham Hotspur fans were quick to sing the praises of Hugo Lloris and Jan Vertonghen for their heroics in denying Arsenal in the dying minutes of the North London derby.
Arsenal were softly awarded a penalty in the 89th minute of the encounter at Wembley which had most Spurs
fans fearing that their rivals were about to take all three points.
Hugo Lloris dived to his right and saved Aubameyang’s effort, as the ball rebounded out a superb block from Jan Vertonghen denied Aubameyang a second chance to score from just a couple of yards out.
In the end, it was a case of both sides settling for a 1-1 draw.
