(Video) Marcus Edwards shows Mauricio Pochettino that he could be worth a second chance

Marcus Edwards has been showing glimpses of his talent this evening in Tottenham Hotspur Under 23’s Premier League 2 match against their Liverpool counterparts

Despite having TJ Eyoma sent off sent off after eight minutes and going behind in the fourteenth minute, Edwards levelled the score in the twenty-third minute when he managed to get onto Parrott’s pass in the right channel, raced into the box, side-stepped Lewis and finished low across Kelleher.

Edwards has also been showing his dribbing skills which once saw Mauricio Pochettino compare him to Lionel Messi.

Edwards managed just six minutes of first team football on loan at Norwich City last season before returning to Spurs for ‘personal reasons’. Hopefully he is turning over a new leaf, sorting out his attitude and is ready to prove to Pochettino he is worth taking a risk on.
