Many Tottenham Hotspur fans were left disappointed when Mousa Dembele decided to swap North London for China in January.
The powerful midfielder became a favourite at White Hart Lane for his Rolls Royce displays in the middle of the park.
Dembele moved to Spurs from Fulham in 2012 and went on to make 250 appearances for the club. However, recent seasons had saw him struggle with injuries and could not cope with the physical demands of the Premier League on a weekly basis.
Despite playing in the lesser Chinese Super League, he still continues to show the quality that made Spurs fans take him into their hearts.
The below footage shows Dembele bossing matches on the other side of the world. It’s just a shame his body could not handle the demands as we certainly could have done with him for the Champions League quarter final second leg against Manchester City this evening.
