Tanguy Ndombele has pulled Tottenham Hotspur level against Aston Villa in what has been a frustrating affair.

The debutant has started to repay his club record transfer fee with a goal on 72 minutes. Just a minute earlier Villa keeper Tom Heaton had pulled off a brilliant save from Davinson Sanchez and when the ball broke loose, Lucas Moura fed the Frenchman who curled the ball into the corner of the net.

Spurs have dominated the match but Villa took their chance in the first half.

The Sky Sports commentators claimed at 19:02 that Ndombele was due to be taken off just minutes before he scored.

  1. This kid looks like the real deal and ask u people who wanted rid of eriksen need to take notice of just how important this man is to this team. Did you see the difference in the team with him in compared to without? Unbelievable they need to give the man whatever it takes to secure his future even if it means a buyout clause that only real Madrid can touch. Thought we struggled early but showed just how good we can be. Similar to liverpool last night and even man city took awhile to get going. Good win but need to start much better If we have any hope of a result against city at the Etihad. Good job boys
