October will see the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium host NFL matches for the first time.

Over back to back Sunday’s, American Football will be the attraction in N17 when the Chicago Bears play Oakland on October 6th followed by a meeting between the Carolina Panthers v Tampa Bay Buccaneers a week later.
Carolina defensive end Mario Addison recently had the chance to visit the 62,062 seater stadium and his reaction after walking out to pitch side for the first time was priceless.
It really does reaffirm the fantastic job that Daniel Levy and co have done to deliver a world class stadium when players from other sports are blown away by the venue.
The fact that the stadium is also a multi-purpose venue is also fantastic for the local economy and job generation within the Tottenham area.
The NFL will play matches at Tottenham’s home as part of a 10-year agreement.

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. Do you lot actually work for Levy and Enic? You must be part of their PR machine going by some of the stuff you publish. What Spurs fan would really care what an NFL player thinks? Yes, it’s a fine stadium – though the thought of THFC having been revealed as a ‘tenant’ in a stadium built for another sport was a tad unpalatable. I get the fact you need clicks, but come on. And I know you won’t publish this comment (you never do) but at least someone there might read it.
