Video: O’Hara does not want to see Pochettino appointed as Premier League boss

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O’Hara has claimed that he does not want to see Mauricio Pochettino take the Newcastle United job at the expense of Steve Bruce.

The Argentine, according to Sky Sports, is being eyed as a possible replacement for Bruce by the club’s new prospective buyers.

Bruce has been in charge since last summer at St James’ Park with the Magpies currently sitting in thirteenth place in the Premier League table.

Pochettino has been out of work since last November when he was sacked by Tottenham after a poor start to the 2019/20 campaign.

O’Hara has praised Bruce for the work he has done at Newcastle considering the limited resources he has had to work with.

Despite being sacked by Tottenham, Pochettino admitted earlier this week in an interview with BT Sport of his desire to return to the North London club in the future for a second stint as manager
