Video: Pochettino grateful for pre-Champions League final break

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is pleased there is a three-week gap between the end of the Premier League and the Champions League final.

Following tomorrow afternoon’s Premier League match against Everton, the Spurs boss will begin his preparations for the biggest game in the club’s history when they face Liverpool in Madrid on June 1st in an all-English final.

The time period will hopefully allow Pochettino to get some of his players back to fitness including Harry Kane and Harry Winks who have been sidelined with respective ankle and groin problems.

The Spurs boss and supporters will be hoping that there are no further injury concerns once the final whistle is blown tomorrow afternoon.
