Video: Ruud Gullit suggests some players may not feature for Spurs for a while

Former AC Milan and Netherlands midfielder Ruud Gullit has claimed that Jose Mourinho will not have been impressed with what he saw from his players last night.

With Tottenham having already booked their place in the last sixteen of the Champions League, the Portuguese made a number of changes to his side which lost 3-1 at Group B table toppers Bayern Munich.

Gullit believes that Mourinho may have got some of the answers he was looking for about his fringe players after they failed to impress at the Allianz Arena.

A number of players failed to pose Mourinho a selection headache ahead of Sunday’s Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers which left Gullit suggesting that the head coach now knows which players he can count on to perform to the required standard going into the busy Christmas period.

Here’s what he told beIN Sports:

Opinion

A number of players were disappointing. Eric Dier was lethargic, Christian Eriksen has completely lost his spark while Giovani Lo Celso looks lost without a set role in the side.
