Video: Sissoko shows he won’t take any prisoners with his protection of Foyth

Moussa Sissoko’s transformation from Tottenham Hotspur flop to fan hero has been nothing short of spectacular.

After two troubling seasons following his then club record £30million switch from Newcastle United (BBC), the French midfielder became somewhat of a scapegoat among supporters for his inconsistent performances which led to many calling for him to be sold.

This season, Sissoko hs arguably been Tottenham’s most consistent performer with his impressive box to box displays which have led to him becoming somewhat of a cult hero.

Sissoko showed his commitment to the cause on Saturday in the 4-0 win against Huddersfield by showing that none of his team-mates will be bullied on the pitch under his watch.

Juan Foyth was pushed off the ball by a Terriers player, which led to Sissoko showing him who was boss and dished out some retribution of his own.
