Tottenham Hotspur forward Heung-min Son was left distraught after witnessing Andre Gomes suffer a nasty leg injury.
The South Korean challenged the Everton midfielder for the ball, followed by another tackle with Serge Aurier and in the resulting action, Gomes appeared to catch his foot in the turf which left his foot pointing at an unnatural angle.
Son was firstly shown a yellow card which was then upgraded to a red card by referee Martin Atkinson.
The South Korean appeared inconsolable after the incident despite the best intentions of the Spurs backroom staff to calm him down.
It was a terrible injury, but it appears harsh that Son has been sent off considering that he did not actually injure the player.
Son Heung-min is sent off for a tackle on Andre Gomes, who is stretchered off with a horrifying injury, with both sets of players are visibly distressed.
