Tottenham Hotspur gained the upper hand in the Champions League quarter final first leg against Manchester City following a 1-0 win courtesy of a Heung-min Son second half strike.
The South Korean netted his second goal in as many matches at the new stadium after claiming his place in Spurs folklore by scoring against Crystal Palace in the first competitive match to be held at the club’s new home last Wednesday.
It would be fair to say that it wasn’t just the Spurs faithful who were delighted with Son’s goal, the commentators from his homeland certainly enjoyed the moment.
