Video: Spurs player reveals just how much it means to play at the new stadium

Tottenham Hotspur fans certainly love it when academy players come through the ranks and make it into the first team.

Harry Winks and Harry Kane are both boyhood Spurs fans who have made their mark in Mauricio Pochettino’s first team plans and one player who is on the periphery hoping to follow is Kyle Walker-Peters.

Walker-Peters was born a stone’s throw away from White Hart Lane and made his first start at the new 62,062 capacity seater stadium in the 4-0 win against Huddersfield.

The right-back spoke to Spurs TV about how he remembers his father taking him to the Lane at a young age and was delighted to step foot on the new pitch in what was a rare start for the 22-year-old.
