[Video] New Spurs stadium construction update

On 14th May 2017, Tottenham Hotspur played their final ever game at White Hart Lane against Manchester United after 118 years.

The very next day, the cranes moved in and began demolishing our spiritual home and since then a lot of work has taken place as the excitement builds towards our new stadium.

Fellow Spurs fan, Chris Cowlin has been keeping a video diary of the construction work taking place at the site of our new stadium and it’s fair to say that work is progressing well.

The builders are working every day of the week – 24 hours a day to try and ensure that it is ready for the start of next season. As you’ll see from the video, a lot of glass panels have already been installed to the exterior of the building and the steel framework within the new south stand which will host the ‘Dortmund-style’ stand has grown in size.

What are your thoughts on the new stadium? Have your say below. COYS.

  1. Excellent video, thank you. I travelled up from Cornwall in July to see the stadium and can’t believe how much progress has been made in such a short time. Can’t wait to see a game there, the atmosphere will be unreal.

  2. The stadium looking better all the time thanks for take the time to do this but I think they should be increasing the capacity by ten to fifteen thousand more after all we are the kings of London and should/Will have a stadium befitting that COYS
