Former Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea defender Jason Cundy believes that the North London club are showing signs of improvement.
Spurs have experienced a difficult start to the new campaign having only managed to win three of their opening eleven fixtures in the Premier League.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side faced a vital match in their Champions League campaign last night away to Red Star Belgrade in what could prove to be a crucial match in deciding who progresses through to the knockout stages.
Despite failing to win away from home since January prior to last night’s game, Spurs put in an accomplished display in Serbia with a comfortable 4-0 victory.
Cundy claimed that the victory was much needed and will now look to turn around their season starting with the visit of Sheffield United to North London on Saturday afternoon.
“They were close to 3 points at Goodison, that’d would’ve been enormous!” 3️⃣
“Some really encouraging signs.”
