Andy Gray has claimed that VAR were incorrect to rule out Sheffield United’s opening goal against Tottenham Hotspur.
Heung-min Son had put the home side ahead on 58 minutes yet a minute later the Blades had thought they had levelled the score through David McGoldrick. However, it was ruled out by VAR after a lengthy review.
Gray, who now works as a football pundit for beIN Sports used an alternative graphic simulator to look at the build up to the ruled out goal from a 3D perspective and claimed that the official decision was ridiculous.
The former Aston Villa forward was left frustrated by the decision and claimed he was losing the will to live over controversial VAR decisions.
The Blades deservedly levelled the score 12 minutes from the end through George Baldock.
