Watch: BBC journalist hints at ‘deeper story’ to failed Dybala deal

Many Tottenham Hotspur fans yesterday were holding out hope that the club could complete a deal for Juventus superstar Paulo Dybala.

BBC football reporter David Ornstein, who was monitoring the developments unfolding throughout the day has now explained why the transfer failed to materialise.

Ornstein claimed that the deal fell apart yesterday morning when Juventus decided to pull the plug on the deal and keep the Argentine forward in Italy.

The journalist hinted that there could be a ‘deeper story’ to the reasons why Spurs were unable to get their man whilst referencing Dybala’s agent’s potential commission along with image right issues.

Here’s what Ornstein had to say when he appeared on BBC Radio 5 Live Sport yesterday evening.
