Manchester City fans are the gift that keep on giving, not only do they struggle to fill their stadium for every match but it appears that some of their fans do not even hang around to watch the end of a riveting Champions League clash.

When Raheem Sterling put the ball beyond Hugo Lloris in the back of the net in the 93rd minute, it looked as if City had broken the hearts of Spurs and booked their place in the semi-final of the competition.

Despite the drama of a potential late winner, some fans did not bother staying until the final whistle which certainly backfired.

A supporter was interviewed by a reporter leaving the Etihad to and asked if he was disappointed with the late VAR decision which saw Spurs book their place in the next round and he was completely oblivious and shocked after assuming that City had got the job done.

This is gold…
