Danny Mills has suggested that Jose Mourinho can guide Tottenham Hotspur to Champions League glory.
Mauricio Pochettino made history last season when he booked the North London club said place in the final for the first time in their history only to lose to Liverpool in Madrid.
Mills, who played for Leeds United during his career and now works as a pundit is full of belief that Mourinho is capable of navigating three rounds of knockout football.
Spurs can book their place in the last sixteen of the competition with victory against Olympiacos at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday night.
Mills believes that if Mourinho can get his side defensively sound, with the attacking options they possess they can easily find the back of the net.
“The last 16 will be favourable.” ✅
“Could Mourinho get through 3 rounds as an underdog? Without a doubt.”
“He’ll be thinking: There’s no reason we can’t go one better than last season.”
